Ted Jordan (Springfield Utility Board), opened up the meeting @ 12p.m.  Chris Miles (2007 LUCC President) was called out for an emergency locate, so was unable to attend the meeting,. 

May 2007 minutes approved.

Treasurers Report:  Damon Joyner (City of Eugene) handed out Treasurer’s Report.  The combined balance as of 5/31/2007 is $4,704.09.  A check was received from OUCC of $1,000.  The only checks issued  were $77 for Gift Certificate for Marlene Metcalf and the charge for Peak Internet Site @ $35. 

Publicity & Education:  Brian Siria (City of Eugene Public Works).  He had a flier for $3.00 T-shirts that are still available.  The T-shirts say “Dig Safely Oregon” on them and they can come in Safety Green or Orange.  A company can also put their own logo on them at no extra charge.  The minimum order is 72.  To place an order you can call Anita Floyd @ 503-242-8290 or call Brian Siria for a flier 682-4879.  This program is offered from the Oregon Utility Notification Center.

Brian also has lots of Dig Safely magnets left from Public Works Day.  The OUNC provided these magnets.  If you would like some magnets, please contact Brian Siria.

Doug Caven is still soliciting for volunteers for Safety Fest (which happens @ Alton Baker Park on Sunday, June 23rd from 9am-5pm) He needs to know today if you can volunteer at the booth (he sent around a sign up sheet), as he cannot be there all day. Also, he encourages you to bring your family. Unfortunately, this event is the same day as the Golf Tournament & the Locate Rodeo.
